The ST450 is a radical development of the earlier ST250 and ST350 portable Soundfield microphones, with a complete redesign of the electronics and the A-format to B-format conversion technique. The Soundfield format can provide mono, stereo, M/S, 5.1 and other outputs, and the control box provides headphone monitoring, bar-graph metering and directionality control. the microphone outputs from the control box are all 0dBu balanced (maximum o/p +22dBu).
