The CMC 5 is microphone preamplifier for the Colette system of capsules and accessories. It was discontinued in 2018. It is 48 V phantom powered only, so it will not auto-switch between 12 and 48 V like the newer CMC 6. It has a 30 Hz, 12 dB octave roll-off filter instead of the 20 Hz of the CMC 6. Includes wooden box, SG 20 stand mount clamp and B 5 D windscreen.
