Blackspade UM17The UM25 builds on the M251 with its CK12 capsule. The new 34 mm capsule design (CK25) uses similar resonance chambers but is easier to build and gives greater consistency. The circuit board uses point-to-point wiring and the output transformer is an AMI T14. The impedance converter uses a Telefunken tube similar to a 6072a. The polar pattern is switchable (3 patterns).
The UM25C variant is equipped with a Tim Campbell CT12 capsule, custom US made power supply and nickel plated body finish instead of powder coat.
