Blackspade UM25The UM17 is a studio microphone that is based on the classic U47 but adds some M49 traits. The design is based on the AMI RFT AK47 but uses a new transformer by Oliver Archut (BV8LP) using nickel laminations to improve LF response. The impedance converter uses an EF732. The K17 capsule provides variable switched polar pattern (11). The UM17R is an upgrade version with a Thiersch M7 Red Line capsule, improved PSU and other accessories.
