The V17 is a large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone featuring a discrete semiconductor circuit and WeissKlang TransHarmonic™ technology to create very subtle and harmonic overtones that contribute to the V17’s musical sound without the use of tubes. The microphone is equipped with an edge-terminated WMK-17 capsule with a gentle lift from 2 kHz upwards. The microphone body is made of copper and hardened aluminium with a powder-coated surface and the grille has a two layer mesh to minimise standing waves entering the head basket. Includes MA-1 shoxck-mount and wooden microphone box.
