The L1 is a transformer-less large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone equipped with a centre-terminated WMK-1 capsule. The microphone grill has an integrated pop filter to minimise plosive noise. The L1 features high transient resolution with a moderate boost between 10 and 11 kHz. It is ideal for speech, vocals, choir, podcasts, guitars, wind instruments, strings, guitar amplifiers, drum overheads and percussion. The L1 employs large discrete components to achieve a very low self-noise. Includes the MA-L shock-mount capable of up to 20 dB of low frequency absorption and a wooden box. The L1 is manufactured in Germany.
