The WA-8000 is a dual-pattern large diaphragm valve microphone. Polar patterns can switched between omnidirectional or cardioid pickup response. The capsule is a K-67 all-brass style. The circuit is based around a NOS 6AU6 vacuum tube and a Lundahl output transformer. It is ideal for both vocals and instruments recording applications. Includes power supply, IEC mains cable, Gotham 7-pin microphone cable, elastic suspension and custom hard case. Specifications given are for the cardioid polar pattern.
