The U47w is an accurate remake of the vintage Neumann U47 by Gunther Wagner. It is a large diaphragm dual pattern vacuum tube condenser microphone. Polar pattern can be switched between omnidirectional and cardioid. It features a Wagner “M7 Berlin” version reproduction using the same manufacturing procedures and brass material as used in the originals. The transformer is a made to original BV8 specifications, using original materials and specifications. The U47w uses a German EF12 steel tube. The regulated and filtered power supply uses a high-quality Haufe transformer to provide clean and steady voltages. Includes NT-12a power supply, shock mount, microphone cable, and flight case.
