The Garnet is a large diaphragm multi-pattern vacuum tube microphone with a 26 mm capsule and nine switchable polar patterns. It features a class A discrete vacuum tube preamplifier, acoustically transparent multi-layer brass mesh grill and a custom wound output transformer. It is ideal for vocals, piano, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, drums, percussions, strings, brass and winds. The Garnet is powered from an external soft starting PSU-5 smart power supply unit, providing stabilised and protected polarisation, plate and heather voltages Includes PSU-5 power supply, VTC-06 7-pin microphone cable, JSM elastic shock mount and power cable. It is also available with a dual diaphragm VD67 capsule as the Garnet 67. Stereo pairs are available on request.
