The Flamingo Standard is a large 26 diaphragm cardioid vacuum tube cardioid condenser microphone. The VD67 dual 26 mm diaphragm is sputtered with a proprietary gold alloy providing faster transient response, higher sound pressure level capability and better low frequency response. The electronics, the capsule and the vacuum tube are internally shock mounted. The Class-A discrete preamplifier drives a 6267 vacuum tube mounted inside a heat sink. It is ideal for vocals and instruments recording applications. Includes a shock mount, wooden box, power supply, VYC-06 microphone cable and mains cable. Matched pairs are available as a special order.
