The V4 gen 2 is a large diaphragm multi-pattern FET condenser microphone. It features a low-noise JFET, edge-terminated custom voiced capsule with dual gold sputtered Mylar diaphragms, 10 dB attenuation pad, 100 Hz low-cut filter and high quality cryogenically treated components. The second generation (gen 2) features higher quality selected, American made components for a lower noise floor and better soundstage.  The V4 gen 2 can be switched between omnidirectional, cardioid and figure of eight. The microphone is manufactured with heavy-duty brass, aluminium, steel and zinc, with an open-weave head-basket to minimise internal reflections. Includes wooden box, shock mount and flight case.
