Common name: Vanguard Audio Labs V24

Production Status: In production

The V24 is a stereo tube condenser microphone equipped with two matched coincident Australian-made BeesNeez CK12 capsules. Each capsule provides nine different polar patterns allowing for X/Y, Blumlein, Mid-Side and other stereo recording setups. The power supply unit has three outputs for ease of use when using mid-side recording setups. The headbasket can be rotated up to 120º with 15 detented positions. The V24 features US-made audiophile grade resistors, Cinemag T14 transformers, Neutrik connectors, criogenically treated valve circuitry and heavy-duty rotation mechanism. The circuits are based around hand-selected 6072A tubes and include two switchable types or roll-off filter per capsule, one to emulate the classic 251 and the other to emulate the one used in the C12. Includes PS-24 power supply,  VLSM shock-mount, power supply, 10-pin microphone cable with Neutrik connectors, padded wood microphone box and padded storage case.
