JC37
Common name: Tonelux JC37
Production Status: In production
The JC37 is a cardioid-only tube condenser microphone designed in cooperation with Joe Ciccarelli. It is inspired by the Sony C37a. It employs a 37 mm large diaphragm capsule, a JAN General Electric 5654 valve and output transformer. The capsule is internally shock-mounted. The circuit without additional polar pattern selection and impedance control is quieter than the original. The power supply can power two JC37 microphones. The JC37 is ideal for vocals, piano, strings, drum overheads and acoustic guitar. Includes power supply and padded case.
