The CM501 is a side-addressed large diaphragm FET condenser microphone with an edge-terminated dual diaphragm capsule. The front and rear diaphragms have their own separate output for maximum flexibility. The capsule and the electronics are suspended inside a mesh cage instead of a traditional head-basket grille in order to minimise colouration from standing waves and reflections. It is excellent for acoustic instruments recording, ensembles and orchestras. Includes shock mount, elastic suspension mount and Pelican flight case. The CM501 is handmade to order.
