The SP-CMC-20 comprises a matched pair of cardioid capsules (12.5 mm x 22 mm approx) fitted in durable rubber housings for stereo use. The optional clips allow easy mouting with 90° locking increments. These microphones can be used alone with any recorder or mixer supplying a bias voltage of 1.5 to 10 volts at its mic input. The microphone capsules are wired together into a high quality stereo 1/8” phone plug. Covering the front of each capsule is a removable black windscreen. For indoor recordings, the windscreens may be left off if desired. An optional battery module can be used for high SPL situations. Max SPL with battery module is 120 dB.
