The SP-MMC-4 is very small cardioid electret condenser microphone that can be plugged into any recording device with a 3.5 mm mono or stereo microphone input (digital recorders, computers, Steno machines, DSLR cameras) that supplies bias voltage of between 1.0 and 10 Volts DC at the microphone input jack. Many of the recorders on the market today include this feature, commonly called “plug in power’. The body of the microphone and connector are covered in black rubber for durability. The microphone is very small measuring 2″ long and about .4″ wide. The AT831 microphone element used in this microphone is made by Audio-Technica. Includes removable foam windscreen. The SP-MMC-4 is ideal for recording lectures, business meetings and interviews.
