The SP-CMC-25 is a studio sub-miniature Super-Cardioid stereo microphone pair with clips and windscreens. It is ideal for “Stealth” recording situations where a reduction of unwanted crowd noise and a faithful audio recording of the event is needed. The capsules feature micron thick, 6mm diameter nickel-plated diaphragms. The flexible, high quality lightweight shielded microphone cable enters the mic body from the bottom. Two removable clips are included. The two microphone cables are terminated together into high quality stereo gold plated 1/8″ (3.5mm) mini plug ready to connect to the portable recorder’s microphone input. The microphone is powered with normal “plug-in-power”, available on many portable recorders and camcorders. For use in high sound pressure level situations, the microphones require additional power, and can be used with an optional external power supply.
