The Telefunken Elektroakustic U47AE is an exact replica of the original U47. It is a large diaphragm dual-pattern vacuum tube condenser microphone featuring an M7 type capsule and a BV8 transformer replica. The microphone is ideal or a wide range of applications, from vocals, to guitars, chamber ensembles and orchestras. The amplifier circuit is based around a VF14k vacuum tube. This is a direct replacement for the original VF14M. Includes M 940H power supply, M 850TH 25′ Sommer tube microphone cable, M740 shock mount, FC50 locking flight case and WB wooden microphone box. The AE version stands for American Elite, the original importer of Telefunken microphones for the USA.
