Common name: Telefunken Elektroakustik TF11

Production Status: In production

The TF11 is a large diaphragm cardioid FET condenser microphone featuring a single membrane version of the edge-terminated CK12 style capsule also used in the TF51 model. The FET amplifier circuit is similar to the one used in the M60 model, coupled with a large UK made Carnhill/OEP nickel-core transformer. The circuit employs UK-made polystyrene film capacitors, Nichicon Gold electrolytic capacitors and an ultra-low noise JFET amplifier. The TF11 is designed and hand-assembled in the USA. It is ideal for vocals, drum overheads, acoustic guitar, cello, upright bass and percussion. Includes MC11 microphone case, M703 shock mount, M782 stand mount and microphone sleeve.
