The S502 MKII is the new improved version of the original S502 ORTF recording microphone. The S502 MKII features specialised diaphragm technology with a 1/2” OD 3μm ultra-thin diaphragm capsule that provides better directivity, a lower S/N ratio and improved total harmonic distortion. The new Superlux S502MKII reveals more sound detail with extended high frequency response. Compared to the original S502, the new S502MKII delivers a flatter frequency response with a crystal-clear, natural sound quality that captures a wide stereo field with increased depth and realism. The Superlux S502MKII ORTF stereo microphone is ideal for classical music, location recording and drums recording. The microphone includes a 0.6m Y-Splitter Cable, 5-pin female XLR plug to 2 3-pin XLR male plug, HM30 shock mount clip, S20 foam screen and a plastic case.
