The OKM are microminiature in-ear microphones for stereo recording using HRTF techniques. There are several versions with a range of colour codes to distinguish them (see http://www.soundman.de/englisch/english.htm). Data are shown for the OKM 2 Classic. The microphones require DC powering which is normally supplied by a battery-powered A3 adapter or the PPA phantom adapter (which gives ~ 8dB improvement in noise levels).
