The SK49 is a large diaphragm multi-pattern condenser tube microphone. The design was inspired by the legendary Neumann M49 with the addition of intermediary patterns and a switchable high pass filter. The capsule is manufactured by Arienne audio. The amplifier circuit is built around a NOS Philips military tube and a CM13101 Cinemag transformer. The PC board is double sided with plated holes. Includes shock-mount, 7-pin XLR cable and medical grade 100-240V power supply with switchable lo-cut filter and polar pattern control.. It can be purchased as a kit for self-assembling or already assembled. Price shown refers to assembled microphone.
