The ECM-674 is an affordable electret shotgun microphone. It is suited to location acquisition work and particularly for use with camcorders. Powering is either by phantom or internal AA battery. On battery power Max SPL is reduced to 115dB. A special circuit can detect the battery voltage and shuts off all power below a threshold to prevent over-discharge and possible cell leakage. Includes windscreen, stand adapter, short XLR cable, microphone spacer and microphone holder.
