The C-38B is a large diaphragm FET condenser microphone with two selectable polar patterns, omnidirectional and cardioid. It is an all purpose microphone ideal in broadcast production and studio recording. It is particularly well suited for recording vocals, percussion and wind instruments. It features a low-cut filter to minimise vibration and a switchable 8 dB attenuation pad. Its vibration resistant construction provides shielding against external magnetic fields. The C-38B also features a 5 positions function select switch: Off, M (full range response), M1 (slight low frequency attenuation, V1 (low frequency attenuation) V2 (severe low frequency attenuation). The microphone can be powered by its internal battery or by standard 48 v phantom power. Includes carrying case, NS5/8 stand adapter, W3/8 stand adapter and screwdriver.
