The Apollo 2 is a phantom powered active stereo ribbon microphone. It has two ribbon elements set in a X-Y Blumlein configuration. It is ideal for all stereo recordings, from orchestral, choral and piano to drum overhead and small ensembles. It can also be used as a mono microphone by recording just one of the ribbon elements. It features a custom wound UK made transformer and internal Radio Frequency Interference filters. Includes stereo microphone cable, shock mount and ABS case.
