The MPM-81 Fet is a multi-pattern large diaphragm Fet condenser microphone for universal use. It is ideal as a spot microphone for single acoustic instruments. The 1″ dual mylar diaphragm is made by Neumann and the microphone polar pattern can be infinitely set between omnidirectional, wide angle cardioid, cardioid, hyper-cardioid and figure of eight. It is manufactured using hand picked and individually tested components, oxygen-free copper cable, specially coated circuit boards to protect the purity of the copper tracks. The Microphone is ‘active’ powered by a separate PS-71 power supply. Includes Rycote USM suspension, Mogami or Van den Hul microphone cable and aluminium case.
