The PG42 is large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone with a tailored frequency response (rather than a flat one) to enhance vocals. It is equipped with a switchable 15 dB attenuation pad and 120 Hz 12 dB/octave high-pass filter. A USB version was also produced (PG42USB). They are both discontinued.
