The other polar patterns are cardioid, hypercardioid, supercardioid, omnidirectional and bidirectional. The Shure MXA310 has built-in digital signal processing for steerable coverage , automatic mixing, and equalisation. The browser-based control software allows control of the microphone settings and digital signal processing from any computer on the network. Specifications shown are for the cardioid pattern.
