Common name: Shure MXA310

Production Status: In production

The Shure MXA310 is a low-profile tabletop array microphone providing up to 5 channels (4 independent transmit channels, and 1 automatic mixing transmit channel) of Dante digital audio over a single network cable. It is Ideal for conferencing applications. Each of the 4 channels has a selectable polar configuration, including a toroid polar pattern, which provides 360° coverage, while rejecting sound from directly above the microphone to reduce noise caused by HVAC systems or video projectors. The other polar patterns are cardioid, hypercardioid, supercardioid, omnidirectional and bidirectional. The Shure MXA310 has built-in digital signal processing for steerable coverage , automatic mixing, and equalisation. The browser-based control software allows control of the microphone settings and digital signal processing from any computer on the network. Specifications shown are for the cardioid pattern.
