The KSM109 is a small end-fire cardioid intended for studio use or live sound applications. It uses an ultra-thin 2.5µm, 24 carat gold-layered Mylar diaphragm, and a Class A transformerless amplifier stage. Performance figures are for 48V phantom and rated load conditions. Operation with 12Vphantom and lower loads is possible but with reduced performance.
