The Beta 54 is a headworn microphone featuring a supercardioid pattern to give maximum gain-before-feedback and rejection of ambience. It has an extended frequency response tailored for close use and vocal performance. It can also handle extremely high the extremely high SPL expected in these circumstances. A wireless version with a TA4F connector is also available.
