The 588SDX is a Neodymium magnetic dynamic cardioid microphone offering a controlled low-frequency response combined with a smooth high-frequency rise for clear and intelligible voice pickup. The spherical grille provides effective filtering out of breath noise and popping when used for closeup vocals, and of wind noise when used outdoors. The cartridge is shock-mounted for quiet operation and low stand or handling noise. The microphone is also equipped with a lockable ON/OFF switch and the dual impedance is internally selectable. Includes slip-in swivel adapter.
