The MKH8060 is a small diaphragm transformer-less short rifle condenser microphone with a supercardioid polar pattern response at low to mid-range frequencies and a lobar response at higher frequencies. It is ideal for dialogue, Foley and sound effects and field recording applications. The microphone is moisture resistant thanks to its RF circuitry design. It has low self noise, high sensitivity, a gentle bass roll-off and a slight rise above 3 kHz for speech intelligibility. It can be easily used on a camera with the addition of a shoe shock mount, on a stand or on a boom pole. It is finished in non-reflective Nextel coating. Includes MZQ 8060 clamp and MZW 8060 windshield.
