The MKE 1 is an extremely small personal microphone (3.3mm diameter) for broadcast and live use. It has a high level of sweat and moisture protection and a Kevlar reinforced 1mm cable. It can handle extreme sound pressure levels. It is primarily intended for use with Sennheiser radio TXs and is usually fitted with a 3-pin special Lemo (MKE 1-4) but a variant 1-5 has open ends. Suffix 3 indicates a beige capsule.
