The MD 211 is a compact omnidirectional dynamic microphone produced between 1962 and 1981. It is intended for high quality studio applications. It features low handling noise, no proximity effect and low distortion when used with high sound pressure level sources. The N version had a DIN 41524 termination while the U version had an XLR.
