The e 908 is available in two different versions. Suffix B is for bass instrument use and suffix D is for drums and percussion. They have different clamp arrangements. The microphone has an integrated shock absorber to minimise handling noise and a flexible goose-neck for ease of positioning. The MZA900P in-line preamp provides a level check and phantom power. A version without the MZA900P (suffix ew) can be used with an Evolution body-pack TX.
