The SCS-98 is a stereo electret condenser microphone for DSLR video use. It features two cardioid capsules set up for X/Y stereo and a shock mount integrated with the shoe mount. The capsules are also decoupled inside the microphone with a rubber system. The SCS-98 can be used on a DSLR camera or mounted on a boom pole. It runs on a a single AAA battery for approximately 100 hours. It is ideal for location recording, broadcast, live performances and ambient recordings. It is equipped with a switchable 80 Hz low-cut filter and a gain switch with 0 dB, +10 dB and – 10 dB settings. The integrated 7″ coiled cable terminates with a 1/8″ (3.5 mm) shielded stereo output Includes foam windscreen and male 1/4″ 20 to female 3/8″ adapter.
