Common name: Senalsound ENG-18RL

Production Status: In production

The ENG-18RL is a handheld omnidirectional dynamic microphone for broadcast and field applications. It is internally shock mounted using natural rubber within the inner shell. This is sealed from the outer shell to protect the capsule from impacts and weather. The ENG-18RL also incorporates a multi-stage wind protection to attenuate plosives and wind noise. Its frequency response is tailored for maximum intelligibility with a gradual low-frequency roll-off, pronounced midrange and high-frequency roll-ff to minimise sibilance and hiss. It has an aluminium alloy shaft for RFI rejection and reduced internal resonance. The long handle can accommodate a microphone handle. It is ideal for professional ENG applications, interviews and press conferences. Includes foam windscreen, microphone clip and zippered carrying pouch.
