The BL8 is a boundary condenser microphone equipped with a small diaphragm (1/2 inch) capsule, ideal for kick drum, cajon, piano, room, ambience, stage floor, speech and conference applications. It features low-noise transformer-less Class-A electronics with high SPL capabilities. The BL8 has a switchable – 10 dB and – 20 dB attenuation pad, 80 Hz or 160 Hz, 6 dB/octave low-cut filter and “Classic” or “Modern” midrange voicing switch.
