The sE8 is a transformer-less small diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone. It features a capsule with an ultra thin 3 micron gold-sputtered diaphragm, a new backplate design, optimised Class A electronics for extremely low noise, wide dynamic range and excellent transient response. It is ideal for recording orchestras, ensembles, choirs, solo instruments and percussion. It has a 10 dB and a 20 dB attenuation pad and a switchable 80 Hz or 160 Hz low-cut filter. Includes swivel microphone clip windscreen and threaded adapter. The sE8 is available in matched stereo pairs delivered in a metal case, stereo bar and windscreens.
