Common name: sE Electronics RNR1
Production Status: In production
The RNR1 is an active bidirectional ribbon microphone designed in cooperation with Rupert Neve. It uses two custom transformers with an intermediate amplifier for impedance buffering and discrete electronics. The ribbon is 2.5 micron. The response dips at 16kHz but does extend to (and rise) to 25 kHz. The microphone is equpped with a switchable 100 Hz low-cut filter. Includes custom shock mount, wooden box and flight case.
