The Harp Blaster HB 52 is an omnidirectional dynamic harmonica microphone jointly designed by sE Electronics and Hohner. The microphone shape has been designed following the input of professional harp players for optimal handling. The high output level and high impedance can drive amplifiers without recurring to impedance converters or boost pedals. The HB 52 has a die cast body with zinc-alloy components and chrome details for maximum durability. It also features a knurled chrome knob on a Bourns volume potentiometer that can be disabled if needed. The output connector is a male XLR-3 with a locking mechanism on its socket (it can be disabled if needed). This provides maximum reliability compared to integrated cables. The capsule uses a Neodymium magnet and a copper voice coil. The HB52 comes with a leatherette pouch and microfibre cloth.
