The SD Systems SX-1 is an entry level cardioid condenser microphone system featuring a gold lacquered clamp and a light weight preamplifier with volume control. Its smart positioning system allows enhancing low or high frequencies by moving the microphone up or down along the rail-clamp. The preamplifier is attached to the sax-bell ring with velcro. The microphone has a built-in windscreen.
