The LCM110 is an omnidirectional condenser microphone designed for violin miking. It has a smoothly balanced frequency response and natural sound performance. The holder fits in the hole of the tail-piece and works as a fine-tune mechanism, in order to get a shock mount hang up. It will not hurt any part of the violin.
The swan neck is easy to adjust for optimal placement. An LCM110C (cardioid version) is also available to reduce ambient sounds.
