The MTSC 74 U is a small diaphragm stereo condenser microphone for ORFT recording applications. It provides excellent stereophony with very good localisation and spatial quality. It is ideal as a main microphone for ensembles and choir as well as a stereo spot microphone. The MTSC employs two MK 4 cardioid capsules spaced by170 mm and angled at 110° as required by the ORTF stereo setup. The MTSC 74 U is equipped with a 30 Hz 6 dB octave low-cut filter. The microphone is also available without capsules (amplifier only) as the MTSC 74 U. Includes stand clamp and breakout cable.
