The Mono-Set CMC 6 MK 4 P is a microphone set containing one CMC 6 microphone amplifier and an MK 4 P cardioid capsule for close speech pickup (under 20 cm). The MK 4 P features and identical pickup pattern to the MK 4 but has a low-frequency response roll-off (-6 dB at 100 Hz). This is compensated by the proximity effect. It is ideal for close speech pickup, and public address systems. The CMC 6 microphone amplifier features a symmetrical, transformer-less, direct-coupled, capacitor-free Class A output stage with low impedance, distortion, and interference. It offers high suppression of interference on the microphone cable and excellent protection against high-frequency radio interference with Schoeps “RFI Shield”. Above 20 kHz, the signal is attenuated for protection against interference in the ultrasonic range. It is designed for standard 48 and 12 V phantom powering. Its circuitry recognises the supply voltage and adjusts itself automatically. It has a 20 Hz, 12 dB/oct. low-cut filter. Includes SG 20 stand clamp, B 5 D hollow foam windscreen, Schoeps velcro cable strap, and wooden box.
