The CMR is a microphone preamplifier for use in direct combination with Colette MK capsules (except BLM03) and pocket transmitters. It is designed to draw only approx. 2-4% of the power required by the CMC 6. No 48 V phantom power is necessary but a supply of 4-10 V/1mA is required, as is generally provided by most pocket transmitters. The CMR has low output impedance and good interference rejection. The output is unbalanced via a fixed cable with terminations specified by the customer. Performance is essentially identical to standard CMC amplifiers with approximately 60% less sensitivity.
