The CMC 6 xt is a wide-band version of the CMC 6 preamplifier for the Colette version. The amplifier may be used with all axially addressed Colette capsules The CMC 6 xt extends the frequency response of the capsules to 40 kHz for high resolution recordings in music application and down pitching in sound effects recording. Response shown relates to the CMC 6 xt with MK4 capsule. The CMC 6 xt Amplifier offers a symmetrical, transformer-less, direct-coupled Class A output stage with low impedance, distortion, and interference. It is designed for standard 48 and 12 V phantom powering. Its circuitry recognises the supply voltage and adjusts itself automatically. Includes wooden box, SG 20 stand mount clamp and B 5 D windscreen. Custom colours are available on request.
