The CM51/3 was first produced in 1951. The circuit is based around a Telefunken EF 94 (6AU6). Together with a small size output transformer the microphone’s dimensions could be reduced to a diameter of 35 mm and a length of only 240 mm. The capsule has a bayonet coupling and can be swiveled about +/- 30°.
