The CM 51/9 is a bottle style vacuum tube microphone preamplifier with interchangeable capsules first produced in 1953. It uses a Telefunken EF94 vacuum tube. The CM 51 U is switchable between omnidirectional and cardioid while the CM 51/N and 51/N 9 are cardioids and the CM 51/7 and CM 51/8 are omnidirectional. Includes SG 51/9 elastic suspension, CMN51/9 power supply, CMKV 51/9 microphone cable and box. The CM 51/9 was distributed and consequently badged by several firms including Telefunken, Siemens and Lorenz.
